TWOSOMES: More Cuddly Creature Couplets

In my post TWOSOMES: Love Poems from the Animal Kingdom…and Some Original Cuddly Creature Couplets, I invited readers to write their own “twosomes’ and to post them in the comments section. I had announced that I would post people’s submissions on Tuesday. Unfortunately, on Tuesday afternoon, I started having an issue with my Internet connectivity. Fortunately, that problem has now been solved.

Eagles

By Brimful Curiosities

After we soar and dance up in the sky,
Let's nest’le forever, you and I.

Octopi (or Octopodes)

By Megan Frances

Besotted by your swimmish charms,
Won't you hold me in your arms

By Mary Lee

I'm a scaredy cat -- I run -- I flee --
Won't you please come hide with me?

Dogs

By Teacherdance

I bite your tail, you bite mine
Our relationship is just divine

Here are three more of my own cuddly creature couplets:

Geese

Come fly with me and be my bride.

Let’s wing away, Love, side by side.

Snails

You’re beautiful. Your slime’s sublime.
I shell love you till the end of time.

Turkeys

I care for you more than a lottle.

I love the way you shake your wattle!

Well, I have to say how much I love your twosomes. The lottle/wattle is great.
