SHOWERS: An Original Acrostic Poem

With that old saying “April Showers bring May flowers" in mind—I wrote the following spring acrostic:

Softly, raindrops come to call. Can you
Hear them gently tap-tapping
On the
Windowpane, on the roof with an
Even, steady beat…
Repeating the song that April loves to
Sing?

Hi Elaine, I received the books today. Thank you!! I love acrostics that weave the words & you choose words that sound so good, 'even, steady beat...' Nice!
