I apologize for posting so late this Poetry Friday. Because of the snowstorm yesterday, road conditions were bad. I decided not to drive home from daughter's last night. Fortunately, the roads were clear when drove home today.

I am happy to announce that EVERYONE who left comments at my Declaration of Interdependence: Poems for an Election Year post last week will receive a copy of Janet Wong's new collection! (Janet sent me some additional copies.)

The Winners:
- Jama
- Jeanine Atkins
- Linda at Teacherdance
- Tabatha
- Linda at Write Time
- Gail Aldous
- Ed Decaria
- Lindsey Matson (Lindsey sent me an email because she couldn't post a comment.)

Congratulations to you all! Please send me your snail mail addresses.

This looks terrific! I was absent on PF last week but just went back and read your post. Won't teachers and politically savvy parents love this book? I'm putting it on my To-Read list. Thanks for featuring it, and glad you got home safely the next day!
