Here’s a poem Pat sent me to post for Neighbor’s Day.
Neighbor’s Day, May 20
Small Talk in the Neighborhood
by J. Patrick Lewis
I said, “Hello, how do you do?”
He said, “Oh, pretty good, and you?”
He said, “Well, how about this rain?”
I said, “The weather’s been a pain.”
I said, “And when it rains, it pours.”
He said, “We’ll have to get the oars.”
There wasn’t any more to say—
We said the same thing yesterday.

Thank you, dear heart, for your kindness in pinning up my poem. A swashbuckler of a bow to you and your many readers!
Cheers, Pat
Pat,
Gee! There's nothing I appreciate more than a "swashbuckler of a bow"--except for a poem sent to me by you to post at my blog!
A deep-knee curtsey to you, oh prolific bard of the children's realm!
Yes, I think Pat must not sleep!
You have really great taste on catch article titles, even when you are not interested in this topic you push to read it
