Last week’s Question of the Week at Blue Rose Girls was “What’s on Your Desk?” Names were drawn from those who entered the contest and got the correct answers to see who would win an autographed copy of Grace Lin’s book The Year of the Rat.

    I agree with Jules. That's not how I imagined your desk. But mine on the other hand, would look, I mean looks, exactly like that. :-)

    My desk doesn't usually look the way it did in the picture I posted. There was a reason I had all that stuff on it at that time. I'll divulge the reason some time in the future.

    Fortunately, I've been on a writing roll lately. I've written quite a number of new poems. In fact, I finished an entire collection in about two months. The candy on my desk wasn't a distraction--but an inspiration!
