I haven’t done much blogging in the past few weeks. I had to take time off to cook and bake and celebrate the holidays with family and friends. Last Saturday, my husband and I left for the White Mountains of New Hampshire. We spent several days with two of our closest friends—and didn’t return until yesterday.For Poetry Friday, I’m giving you a link to the Spring 2008 Catalog of Roaring Brook Press. A poem, Things to Do If You Are a Pencil, appears on page 13 of the catalog. The poem is included in an anthology of list poems written by contemporary poets entitled Falling Down the Page. The book was edited by Georgia Heard and will be released in March.

I was so surprised when I found my poem printed in the Spring 2008 Roaring Brook catalog. I had no idea "Things to Do If You Are a Pencil" would be highlighted in the catalog.
Congrats not only on being in the book, but being featured in the catalogue like that!

There's no need to apologize. I didn't write that it was an original poem when I left my comment at your blog. I thought it would be a surprise for people--as it had been for me when I saw my poem in the online catalog last week.
